This Native American Mexican Pot is believed to be dug up in central Mexico. It is hand made and has a Rawhide Frame Surrounding it. This pot does have a stamp translated to made in mexico, but is believed to be added on import. The Knights of Pythesis was a United States Secret Society originated at Washington D.C. February 19th 1864. "FBC" which stands for the Pythian motto ("Friendship, Charity, Benevolence"). Early in the group's history, some Pythians formed the Uniformed Rank, which adopted military terminology for its organization. This sword was owned by a member of the Uniformed Rank which is why he blade is inscribed with the acronym, "UR," and a lily. The Sequin and Ribbon was added later by Native Americans to update the ceremonial dress. This dress measures 45" long. This dress has Tight Woven Beadwork Strips over both shoulders and has a Silver conch or medallion on center. Made with very early clothe and measures 3' long. This Knife is made out of a Turkey leg with the sheath being made of Buffalo and brass tacks. This Mallet is Native American and has beadwork entirely covering it. The Mallet head is a hand carved blue bird. These mallets are too big to be used in war and unbalanced. They were used for ceremonial dances and for cracking the skulls of buffalo. This Native American "War Mallet" was used for fighting. Made with hand carved stone, stretched hide and is sinew sewn. Has good age circa 1800's. This Native American War Mallet is carved on both sides featuring a Buffalo, Tepee, Horse, and Turtle all hand carved. Made with stretched hide and is sinew sewn.
